This Santa Monica residence is a remodel within an existing hillside home and transforms the garage into a junior accessory dwelling unit (JADU).
The clients approached Standard with the goals of enhancing ocean views and welcoming their extended family with a JADU. By carefully reimagining the main living area and bedrooms, the design transitions the existing house into a new chapter, supporting the client’s modern lifestyle.
