Jeffrey Allsbrook, a licensed architect and founding principal of Standard, received a BS in Architecture from the Ohio State University and a Master of Architecture from the Southern California Institute of Architecture. He also studied architecture at the Städelschule in Frankurt, Germany and at the Berlage Institute in Amsterdam. Mr. Allsbrook’s built and theoretical work has been featured in numerous publications both nationally and internationally. In addition to his professional work, he is committed to architectural education and research. He maintained a faculty position at the University of Southern California from 1999 to 2009. Mr. Allsbrook has presented lectures on Standard’s work and his research on Le Corbusier, as well as juried reviews at USC, SCI Arc, UCLA, Otis College and Rice University. Prior to forming Standard, Mr. Allsbrook was a designer at Munkenbeck and Marshall in London, and a project architect for Mack Architects in Los Angeles. He is licensed in California, New York, Nevada and Washington.

Silvia Kuhle, a licensed architect and founding principal of Standard, received her Diploma in architecture from the Technische Universität in Darmstadt, Germany and her Master of Architecture from Columbia University in New York. Ms. Kuhle worked with Morphosis Architects for more than ten years. As Project Manager and Principal, she managed a broad range of award winning educational, institutional, governmental, cultural and residential projects. In 2006 she led the firm’s competition winning design for the Phare Tower in Paris, a 300 meter commercial office building that aims to set new benchmarks for sustainable design while providing an iconic landmark in the Parisian skyline. Ms. Kuhle led many of the firm’s most celebrated projects, including the third phase of the Hypo Alpe-Adria Bank in Klagenfurt, Austria, the Caltrans District 7 Headquarters in Los Angeles and the New Academic Building for the Cooper Union in New York City. As Project Architect, she was responsible for the Long Beach International Elementary School and the Children’s Museum Los Angeles. Ms. Kuhle’s work has been published in A+U, Architectural Record, SOMA, Columbia University Abstract, and SD. Ms. Kuhle taught design studios at UCLA, as well as lectured and juried reviews at SciArc, UCLA, USC and Cornell University.
Eileen is a designer at Standard. She received her Master in Architecture from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, Taubman College of Architecture and Urban Planning. Eileen received recoginition and honors during her studies and joined Standard with prior work experience.
Tracy has been leading design teams for residential, cultural, and commercial projects located across the US. She has been with Standard since 2013. Tracy earned a Bachelor in Science from the Washington University, School of Architecture, Magna cum Laude, and a Master of Architecture from Rice University in Houston, Texas. Prior to joining Standard, Tracy worked in architecture and urban planning.
Denisa joined Standard with prior research experience. She received her Master in Architecture from Yale University, School of Architecture and her Bachelor in Structural Engineering (cum laude) from Princeton University, School of Engineering and Applied Science.
Anthony has extensive experience in a full spectrum of architectural design work, particularly in mixed-use, entertainment,and residential. Anthony earned a Master in Architecture in 2011 from Ryerson University, Toronto, with Royal Architectural Institute of Canada Honor Roll and received an Architectural Guild Medal upon graduation. In 2016, Anthony moved from Toronto to Los Angeles with his wife.
Having been with Standard since 2011, Tiara is an experienced member of our leadership team. She has headed up projects ranging from large private homes, various cultural projects, and high end retail stores. Tiara received her BA and Master of Architecture from UCLA. Prior to joining Standard, Tiara gained experience working for Los Angeles based architects and in the studio of artist Doug Aitken.
Mitchell joined Standard with extensive prior experience in Great Britain. He gratuated with honors from the University of Huddersfield, Yorkshire and has traveled internationally.
Mark Kamish is a designer at Standard. Mark has diverse prior work experience within the United States. He graduated with Master in Architecture from UCLA and has received recognition and awards for his work.
Andrew is a designer at Standard. Andrew received his Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Southern California and Master of Architecture from University of California, Los Angeles.
Helena joined Standard after completing her Master of Architecture at Southern California Institute of Architecture. She has prior experience in Mexico City and Los Angeles. Helena graduated with honors ‘Magna Cum Laude’ from the Universidad Iberoamericana, Mexico City with a Bachelor of Architecture and Urban Planning.
Emmanuelle joined Standard to pursue her interest to work in the United States. She has expansive prior work experience in Paris, France. Emmanuelle received her Master Degree from the ENSA Paris-Belleville, Paris with highest honors and her Bachelor from the Lycée Montaigne, Paris.
Jihun joined Standard in the summer of 2017. He has prior work experience in Korea. Jihun received his Bachelor of Architecture from the Kyung Hee University with Honors and completed his Master in Architecture at UCLA.
