Supervinyl

Supervinyl is a boutique store with a curated collection of albums as well as a selection of turntables and speakers.

After entering through the black brick and glass storefront the design of the store surrounds the customer with a grid of records, organized in layered tiers extending up above eye level. Arranged around the perimeter of the store the graphics of the album covers create a pattern along the walls on both sides and stand out against the backdrop of the black stained oak display cases.  Under-shelf lights are illuminating the records evenly.

The display walls continue to the rear of the space and connect by curving around a tall black table on which the turntables are displayed. The curved black paneling behind the round black table forms a focal point reminiscent of a vinyl record.  Tall white painted soffits above the wall display highlight the circular shape.

A curved cash wrap is integrated along the wall behind the turntable display.  Freestanding display cases showcasing album collections, specialty turntables, and branded clothing are arranged on the natural concrete floor in the center of the store. White louvers are suspended from the roof in a linear pattern and visually create the ceiling. A seating group in front of the space can be re-arranged to allow bands to play life music.
