Standard Turns Twenty

Standard Turns Twenty

Standard is celebrating 20 years of design.

Our first project, the Maxfield store on Robertson Boulevard, was designed in 1995 and completed early 1996. We've installed a new black Terrazzo floor and designed a modular aluminum and wood display system which required no welding. Padded wall paneling and silk curtains lined the dressing rooms while giant bamboo was planted in courtyard connected to and visible from the store.

Following the Maxfield store we've designed James Perse's first home in the Bird Streets.
